ID Released For Man Killed After Car Crashes Off Ledge Near Train Station In Westchester

The driver of a car who died after his vehicle fell nearly 40 feet off a gated embankment near a train station in Westchester has been identified.

A New Rochelle man was killed when his vehicle fell over an embankment.

Joseph Kerker, 67, of New Rochelle, was killed when the Toyota he was driving veered off the road and through a fence late Saturday afternoon near the Mount Vernon East train station at the intersection of First Avenue and First Street, said the Mount Vernon Polie

The MTA and Mount Vernon Police Department are working jointly to investigate the incident.
